100th Year Village | Blocks for Hope
INTRODUCTION
100th Year Village | Blocks for Hope is a social responsibility project launched in the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes that struck Turkey on February 6, 2023. The project aims to build modular, sustainable, and green energy-based housing for families affected by the disaster. Initiated by Atlas Space, it is carried out in collaboration with the Gendarmerie Public Order Foundation, Mustafa Kemal University, Blocks for Hope, and the Gülmek İyileştirir Association.
In this project, I played an active role in the architectural design processes, implementation drawings, site planning, as well as in the modeling workflows and AR/VR integration, contributing to the creation of a functional and immersive design experience tailored to the region’s needs.

DESCRIPTION
100th Year Village | Blocks for Hope is a modular housing project developed to provide safe and livable environments for families affected by the earthquakes. Spread across 120 acres, the new settlement will include 200 homes and various support units.
Designed with sustainable architectural solutions, the project responds to the region’s climatic, environmental, and social conditions. I played an active role in the architectural design, technical drawings, and master planning, ensuring the homes are durable, functional, and community-oriented.
The construction process is currently ongoing, and the project aims to build a hopeful future for those impacted by the disaster.
